A Contemporary Interpretation of Persian Heritage
Located in Tabriz, Iran, Tabriz Carpet Cafe Restaurant is a contemporary hospitality project inspired by the rich cultural identity of Tabriz carpets and traditional Persian craftsmanship.
The design concept transforms the carpet from a decorative element into an architectural language, integrating its patterns, textures, and cultural memory into the spatial experience. Carefully selected carpet fragments appear across walls, partitions, and lounge areas, creating a dialogue between heritage and modern minimalism.
The interior combines warm natural materials, textured plaster, walnut wood, stone surfaces, and controlled ambient lighting to create an elegant and intimate atmosphere. The spatial arrangement is designed around a central dining area, a signature carpet wall, a quiet VIP lounge, and a refined coffee bar, providing visitors with a balanced experience of comfort, culture, and contemporary hospitality.
Through the combination of traditional motifs and modern architectural principles, Tabriz Carpet Cafe Restaurant becomes more than a café; it represents a meeting point between Iranian identity, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.
