ChamadanKadeh began with a journey to the Moon — quite literally.
Of course, with its own suitcases.
During our very first meeting, the client shared a phrase that quickly became the starting point of the entire concept:
“Now is the time to travel to the Moon.”
What made this project different from the very beginning was the client’s mindset. He was not looking to copy an existing image, repeat a familiar style, or recreate something that had already been done. He genuinely wanted a space with its own identity — one shaped by his own ideas, vision, and character.
And that was exactly what made ChamadanKadeh such an exciting design challenge.
The concept of a journey to the Moon gradually shaped the architectural language of the project.
Geometric forms, fragmented curves, and a sequence of interconnected corridors were developed to evoke the feeling of moving through a spacecraft — guiding visitors step by step toward the final destination:
a gateway to the Moon.
The space gradually took on a parametric character; somewhere between architecture, movement, and imagination.
The limited footprint of the project did not provide much room for such an ambitious concept to unfold. However, the generous ceiling height gave us an opportunity to work vertically and create harmony through carefully controlled proportions, lines, and volumes.
The result was an environment designed to give the visitors of ChamadanKadeh a sense of entering a spacecraft and experiencing the world surrounding it.
For me, every design has a story.
And living with its characters, details, challenges, and decisions throughout the design process is always a new experience — and another step forward.
Today, with the design brought to life, the sentence that began as a simple slogan during our first meeting has become part of ChamadanKadeh’s physical reality:
Now is the time to travel to the Moon.
